Board members work together in directing the affairs of the charity and becoming involved in the development of policies and procedures of the society.


About St. Luke's Housing Society

The Society provides a single sheltered housing scheme of 35 self contained flats for the over 55's in Headington, Oxford. Accommodation is also available for people with limiting disabilities. We provide an on-site House Manager and aim for a high level of comfort and a supportive community.


What are we looking for?

An interest in social housing, empathy for older people and understanding or willingness to learn the responsibilities of a board member of a charity.

We also look for one or more of the following skills -

When can you do this role?

Most meetings take place during weekdays. Board members are initially involved about one half day a month.


Getting there

We are based at Latimer Road, Headington, Oxford. There is limited car parking on site. There is easy access from Oxford city centre and the surrounding villages by bus.
